Dabble Injury Protection Policy

Updated over a month ago

Version 1.3 of the Dabble Injury Protection Policy was published on the 11th July, 2025.

How It Works

**Dabble's Injury Protection Policy applies only to single full-game projections. For all Future Markets (Season Long), please refer to our Individual Sport Rules**

Overview of Voiding Conditions

A player’s entry can be voided depending on specific circumstances, as detailed below:

  • Non-Participation: If a player is marked as "Did Not Play" (DNP) and does not take to the court, rink or field at all, their projection will be voided. If the player withdraws prior to the match or remains inactive throughout, the lineup will be adjusted to exclude their selection.

  • Injuries: Players who sustain an injury or are ejected during the first half, rendering them unable to participate in the second half, will have their picks voided should they meet the individual sport criteria. This rule ensures fairness when unforeseen events occur.

  • Coaching Decisions: If a player does not play the second half, period or other related criteria depending upon the individual sport due to a coaching decision (e.g., rotational changes or rest), their projection will not be voided. Coaching decisions are considered part of the normal dynamics of a game.

Additionally, preseason games are excluded from the Injury Protection Policy, meaning any injuries during these games cannot void picks. For substitution cases in sports like soccer, players starting as substitutes also have their picks voided, subject to sport-specific rules.

Partial Participation

If a player takes to the court, rink or field during any part of the game, their entry will stand regardless of how long they play. For example, if a player is active for any period of time and is then unavailable for the remainder of the game due to non-injury circumstances (e.g., a coaching decision), their performance is considered valid and all projections will be settled upon the official stats provided at the end of the game.

For instance, if a player enters the game in the second half but records no statistics, their participation is still counted, and the pick remains valid. Conversely, if the player left due to injury in the first half and did not return, the pick might be voided based on specific criteria.

It is important to note that all participation and void determinations must be verified through official game logs or trusted league sources rather than informal channels.
